Description

Here is another one of Baragon2001's creation that I redesigned upon his request. I actually thoroughly enjoyed working on this piece and look foward to doing more of them (with Jake's permission of course)

Hugo Frankenstein

Height: 35 feet
Mass: 30 metric tons

Bio:
The life of Hugo Frankenstein is tied with the legend of King Kong in the most uncomfortable of ways. Since his youth Hugo had longed to become an accomplished scientist like his grandfather who was fabled to have been so great that he himself could bring the dead back to life. All throughout his life, he had studied in many different fields and traveled the world, searching for the new and unknown. Unfortunately no matter how hard he tried, no matter how much he achieved, it seemed that nothing was good enough for him to achieve his goal. That is, until he saw, him…….

It was not mere coincidence that Frankenstein was there that fateful night when the Eighth Wonder of the World was unveiled. Frankenstein had heard stories of an island where time had stopped, where huge monsters from long ago still roamed and people had once again become part of the food chain. But Frankenstein had only thought a place such as this was mere superstition and even his own exploits to discover the island had ended in failure. But the beast that stood before him was nothing he had ever seen before, and from then on, he knew, that he must have it, KING KONG. Even the death of his parents at the hands of Kong did not sway his obsession, unfortunately its untimely demise did.

Distraught at his greatest desires destruction, and unable to obtain the body for research and experimentation, Frankenstein lost his will. However a thought occurred; if Frankenstein could not have Kong, then he would obtain a beast greater then it. Pressuring Captain Englehorn to show him the island where Kong was discovered, Frankenstein desperately searched for any creature like Kong. Unfortunately the only remnants of Kong’s species that could be found were the bones that littered his cave. However it was here where Frankenstein found a prize that was enough to satisfy his obsession, an intact (yet decaying) body of Megaprimatus.

Using his brilliant intellect, and the long kept secret log book of his grandfather’s experiments, Hugo Frankenstein created a creature that was both an abomination to God, and the greatest achievement in science yet to be realized; the perfect man, The Prometheus. Frankenstein wished to show his creation to the world and at a televised location did just that. Unfortunately the Prometheus proved to be uncontrollable and after a brief rampage the Prometheus was quickly ended by the newly revived Kong.

With his perfect man destroyed, and his once great reputation in ruins, Frankenstein sought refuge in the dark continent of Africa to continue his research. It was here that he once again created another monstrosity known as the Ginko, however, unlike the Prometheus, Frankenstein saw his newest creation as something more of a son and wished merely to live the remainder of his life alone with it by his side. Fate however once again intervened with Frankenstein’s plans as this beast too met its demise at the hands of Kong.

Broken, battered and severely crazed, the once great scientist had become a shadow of his former self. His obsession with Kong had turned to hatred, and he would see the great ape destroyed by his own hand.

Returning to New York, Hugo Frankenstein prepared his end game.

Using what was left of his old lab and the little lingering remnants of material he had left, Frankenstein performed the same atrocities he had done to so many other creatures to himself. Now a giant amalgamated beast. Hugo Frankenstein lumbered onto the streets of Manhattan screeching for Kong to show himself. It was not long until his call was answered and the two great behemoths quickly became locked in a life or death struggle. After a long and boisterous fight from one point of the island to the other, it was Kong who prevailed, and Frankenstein sunk to the bottom of the sea, never to be seen again.

His story however, is far from over.
