Monster Island 6: The Valley for
featuring Zilla, the Ookondru, Barugaron, and Shiigan (all neo) along with his interpretation's of Harryhausen's Dragon and Griffin.
Synopsis: Home to some of the most diverse species on Monster Island is the Valley. Featuring various mythological creatures from times past the Valley has become the most stable terrein of most of the island chains. This is in large part due to the two most well known inhabitants of the area the Griffin and Dragon. The Griffin has become the pride the Valley largely due to his unserpassable maneuverability in the air and finicky upkeep of the enviornment. He will go out of his way to settle quarrells in the area and though comparatively small by kaiju standards he is unafraid to openly challenge others who dare enter his territory uninvited. One of the best examples of this is when Rodan himself unexpectedly entered the Valley who though a much faster flyer found himself outmanuevered by the winged-lion and was sent barreling into a mountain side. Needless to say, Rodan has not since returned to the Valley.
Where the Griffin rules the skies of the Valley, the Dragon rules the land. The Dragon, like the Griifin is largely territorial especially to that of some of the other well known creatures who inhabit the Valley, the Cyclops (who one the members has appeared to haved died in this photograph, believed to be the Dragon's handiwork). Though the Dragon is largely territorial, he is inquisitively playful around humans and will willingly allow them into his lair for study.
Finally, their is Zilla and the Ookondru. Zilla is a welcomed edition to the Valley as he is all around the chain of islands. One of the most friendly of kaiju, Zilla has become a friendly face around Monster Island and many of the other monster usually welcome him into their territories. The same can be somewhat said about the Ookondru who have become the unoffical cleaners of the island. They usually travel in between the island chains searching for rotting carcasses to devour and many kaiju welcome their presence. While visiting the Valley, they usually submit to the Griffin while in the area and will not proceed their usual duties in the area without his approval.
Got kind of carried away in the synopsis but I got into it and it was fun, I might go back to the others and do more
